Frequently asked questions

What is wa7tch.com?
Wa7tch.com is a place for me to share the builds and ideas I have with other radio and preparedness enthusiasts.
Everything is made from necessity
The process is simple. I see a need for something, and I do my best to create something to fill that need. Either no product exists, or they do exist, but are outrageously expensive.
How much does it cost?
While I do intend on making a profit, I also don't believe in pricing things abnormally high. Prices are set mostly by the cost of the materials and my time invested in the build process.
Custom work
If you have a specific radio that you would like a custom ammo can built for, send me a message and we might be able to work something out.
How can I contact you?
Questions can be sent through the contact form at the bottom of this page. I will do my best to get back with you as soon as possible.
Where can I learn more about you?
I am just a guy trying to sell a few radio accessories. You can find me on QRZ or on HF in the evenings.
What printing materials are used?
Most custom designs involve a 3D printed part. If the item has the potential for prolonged exposure to heat and sunlight, it will be made using ASA filament. ASA filament is capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 200 F before it begins to soften and is extremely UV resistant. If the print is designed for minimal heat or sunlight exposure, it will be printed in PLA filament.
Is a warranty included?
All sales will receive a 90-day warranty that covers material and manufacturing defects. Damage incurred by abuse or neglect will not be covered.
